MAGAZINE DESIGN

Throughout my time as Design Team Lead at InFlux Magazine, I had the opportunity to concept and design stories written by classmates. With the help of writing, copyediting, photography, and web design teams, we were able to create an 80-page magazine.

MR CLEAN
DESIGN

For a media design course, we were instructed to pull a piece of paper out of a hat that 2 pieces of information: an event and a location. We were then tasked with creating a cohesive campaign to advertise the event. I drew Mr. Clean speaking at Northrop

BUILDING DESIGN

While working with the same tech company, they were in the process of moving and asked me to create a graphic that illustrated their new building sitting between the Twin Cities skyline. Pictured is that graphic as well as an additional one we sent out to clients to inform them of our move.

CASTLE
DESIGN

During my time working with a technology software company, I was asked to create a tangible graphic that helped explain the concepts of the IT world that are hard to understand for the average person. I created this castle in Adobe and analogized various parts of the castle with different definitions.

For example:

The gate under the moat = VPN and VPN tunnel

The castle guards patching holes = system patching

The bars on the windows = encryption

The guards standing watch on the bridge = MFA

In addition to this graphic, created a key and powerpoint that zooms in on each starred area and goes into detail explaining each concept.

TECH HANDOUT DESIGNS

I also had the opportunity to rebrand and revamp a lot of their external and internal facing documents to better illustrate a consistent brand image. Pictured on the right are a few external handouts we often share with clients so that they understand the purpose of why we do what we do.
